Deck overview

This Rakdos deck is built around Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin, turning incremental opponent life loss into substantial commander growth and massive impulse card advantage. By deploying low-cost group-slug permanents such as Razorkin Needlehead, Fate Unraveler, and Manabarbs, the deck triggers Ob Nixilis across every turn of the table rotation. This continuous card flow fuels both mid-game board control and rapid digging toward decisive win conditions. The primary finish relies on a deterministic infinite loop between Ob Nixilis and All Will Be One (or Casey Jones, Back Alley Brute), dealing lethal damage to all opponents in a single burst. A robust suite of efficient removal, redirection spells like Bolt Bend, and red countermagic defends key assets, while alternate value engines like Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls and Bolas's Citadel provide strong resilience whenever the commander is contested.
