Deck overview

This five-color deck harnesses the partner synergy of Leonardo, the Balance and Michelangelo, the Heart to establish an aggressive +1/+1 counter and token engine. Michelangelo attacks early to generate Food tokens and distribute counters via Raid, which immediately triggers Leonardo to spread +1/+1 counters across your entire battlefield. The 99 is densely packed with counter enhancers like Hardened Scales, Winding Constrictor, and Corpsejack Menace, alongside powerful scaling threats such as Sovereign Okinec Ahau and Big Mother Mouser. Once the board accumulates critical mass, the deck transitions into a lethal combat finish using unblockable effects from Herald of Secret Streams, double damage from Raphael, the Muscle, or Leonardo's five-color activated ability granting menace, trample, and lifelink. Supported by solid protection spells and flexible removal, the deck executes a robust, compounding midrange game plan.
