Deck overview

This deck utilizes Killian, Decisive Mentor to orchestrate a political, goad-driven control strategy backed by an extensive Aura suite. By enchanting opposing creatures with Impetus Auras and granting protection or massive stat buffs to its own threats, the deck turns the table into an arena where opponents are forced to eliminate each other. Killian's abilities reward this aggressive redirection by tapping key blockers and drawing cards whenever enchanted creatures attack. The deck stabilizes through pillowfort staples such as Ghostly Prison and Blind Obedience before closing out games with Eriette of the Charmed Apple, Archon of Sun's Grace, or massive game-ending Auras like Eldrazi Conscription and Super State. High-density Orzhov spot removal keeps combo threats in check while recursion spells ensure long-term resilience against board wipes.
