Commander: Nicol Bolas, the Ravager // Nicol Bolas, the Arisen

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis control build centered on Nicol Bolas, the Ravager. The front face disrupts opponents early with flying pressure and targeted discard, while its transformed side, Nicol Bolas, the Arisen, functions as a high-value planeswalker engine that draws cards, removes threats, and reanimates key permanents. The deck aims to strip opponent resources using hand disruption and board wipes like Crux of Fate and Hour of Devastation. You win through accumulated bleed damage from cards like Megrim and Fell Specter, devastating swings with Cruel Ultimatum, mass reanimation via Command the Dreadhorde, or the game-ending ultimate abilities of Bolas planeswalkers.
