Deck overview

Éowyn, Shieldmaiden leads a Jeskai Human tribal deck centered on compounding token production and monarch card advantage. The deck aims to deploy early ramp and utility Humans, cast Éowyn on Turn 4 or 5, and reliably trigger her combat ability every turn by casting or flickering additional Humans. This engine consistently populates the battlefield with 2/2 trample, haste Knight tokens while drawing extra cards upon reaching a six-Human threshold. The primary path to victory involves scaling wide boards with powerful tribal multipliers such as Shared Animosity, Door of Destinies, Aragorn, King of Gondor, and Taunt from the Rampart, eliminating opponents across successive combat steps by Turn 8. While the deck possesses resilient token recovery and strong redundant beaters in the 99, it operates primarily at sorcery speed with limited instant-speed interaction and stack protection. As a result, it remains vulnerable to well-timed board wipes and fast combo strategies.
