Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Eldrazi token swarm strategy piloted by Azlask, the Swelling Scourge. The game plan revolves around rapidly deploying Eldrazi Spawn and Eldrazi Scion token generators such as Writhing Chrysalis, Basking Broodscale, Awakening Zone, and Path of Annihilation. As these tokens are sacrificed for mana or lost in combat, Azlask accumulates experience counters. Once a sufficient token army and counter count are established, the deck activates Azlask's WUBRG ability to grant all creatures a massive power/toughness buff while giving all Scions and Spawns indestructible and Annihilator 1. This attack strips opposing boards of permanents while dealing lethal combat damage across consecutive turns. In backup lines, alternate powerhouses like Titans' Vanguard, Glaring Fleshraker, and All Is Dust leverage high colorless density to close out games.
