Deck overview

Marwyn, the Nurturer leads a creature-heavy mono-green Elfball deck. The early plan is to deploy cheap mana Elves, grow Marwyn, the Nurturer, and use Priest of Titania, Elvish Archdruid, Heritage Druid, or Circle of Dreams Druid for a large mana surplus. Creature tutors provide useful access to the mana engine, draw engines, and Craterhoof Behemoth. The ordinary operational checkpoint is around turn 5: Marwyn, the Nurturer and several Elves are in play and can produce enough mana to continue developing. A typical critical attack begins around turn 6 with Craterhoof Behemoth, then finishes through attacks on turns 7 and 8. Umbral Mantle creates a conditional infinite mana and power loop with sufficiently large Marwyn, the Nurturer, but it is not consistently found by the deck's creature tutors and needs a separate payoff. The main weaknesses are creature removal, board wipes, limited interaction, and reliance on a wide board surviving until the payoff.
