Deck overview

This Jeskai midrange deck is helmed by Gwen Stacy // Ghost-Spider, focusing on cast-from-exile triggers and +1/+1 counter modifications. Early turns focus on deploying efficient threats and building mana. On turn 5, the commander transforms into Ghost-Spider, providing an evasive, vigilant, and hasty attacker that converts exile plays into +1/+1 counters and further impulse card advantage. The deck generates substantial mid-game value through cards like Kami of Celebration, SP//dr, Piloted by Peni, and Araña, Heart of the Spider. It converts this engine into a decisive win through paradox burn enablers such as Flaming Tyrannosaurus and Shadow of the Goblin, supported by wide combat buffs from Optimus Prime, Hero // Optimus Prime, Autobot Leader and Thundering Raiju. A robust protection suite safeguards critical permanents during closing turns.
