Deck overview

This is a Naya combat deck built around Marisi, Breaker of the Coil and a broad goad package. Its normal plan is to ramp, cast Marisi, Breaker of the Coil, equip or enable an evasive attacker, and use combat damage to force opposing creatures into attacks that do not target the pilot. Fumiko the Lowblood, Kitt Kanto, Mayhem Diva, Disrupt Decorum, and Vengeful Ancestor provide additional goad effects. The Equipment package gives the deck several ways to improve damage, evasion, haste, and card flow. The deck has solid casual ramp and useful single-target removal, but many lands enter tapped, the draw engines depend on combat or multiple Equipment, and there is little protection or stack interaction. It can create a strong political and combat-control position around turns 6–7, but it does not reliably convert that position into a full-table kill or a total lockout.
