One Mana by SrumeNecro

Format: Commander

Commander: Ashnod, Flesh Mechanist

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

The deck is a slow mono-black sacrifice-ramp engine built around Ashnod, Flesh Mechanist. Ashnod converts cheap or recurred creatures into tapped Powerstones on attack, and her activated ability later turns dead creatures into 3/3 artifact Zombies. The primary plan is to use those Powerstones to pay for repeated Engine Rat activations, supported by recursion from Dross Skullbomb, Crawl from the Cellar, and Tenacious Dead. Secondary paths are commander Voltron with Cultist of the Absolute and Tarrian's Soulcleaver, or a slow The Millennium Calendar lock. Tinybones Joins Up is a support enchantment, not a hidden commander. The deck wins by attrition rather than a fast combo.
