Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis kindred strategy led by Loki, the Deceiver. The primary game plan deploys efficient Villain creatures in the early turns, casts Loki on turn 4, and attacks on turn 5. When Loki attacks, he creates a temporary token copy of another attacking Villain and draws cards whenever Villains deal combat damage. The deck leverages connive triggers to sculpt the hand, put +1/+1 counters on attackers, and fill the graveyard with mayhem cards. On turns 5 and 6, the deck deploys high-impact finishers such as The Squadron Sinister or Doctor Octopus, Master Planner to grant evasion and massive stat boosts, threatening a table kill over two combat cycles by turn 8. While the deck boasts strong card draw and board recovery, its reliance on combat damage leaves it vulnerable to well-timed board wipes and targeted removal.
