Way of the Samurai by SrumeNecro

Format: Commander

Commander: Raiyuu, Storm's Edge

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Raiyuu, Storm's Edge is both the engine and the win condition. This Boros deck uses Samurai/Warrior 'attacks alone' synergies: it sends one creature into the red zone, triggering lone-attack payoffs, Raiyuu's untap, and an extra combat phase. The primary line is Commander damage from an equipped Raiyuu-Blackblade Reforged for power plus Lizard Blades or Reyav, Master Smith for double strike-over two or three combats. A secondary plan deploys Akki Battle Squad and Goro-Goro to add extra combats and Dragon tokens. The commander is a single-faced card; there is no hidden commander. If Raiyuu is kept off the battlefield, the deck becomes a slower equipment deck with Akki as its only extra-combat backup.
