Deck overview

This mono-white Voltron deck is commanded by Cloud, Midgar Mercenary, a commander that tutors an Equipment card on entry and doubles triggered abilities from himself and attached Equipment. The primary game plan is to resolve Cloud on Turn 2, tutor a high-impact Equipment such as Sword of Hearth and Home or Hammer of Nazahn, and begin attacking on Turn 4 with doubled triggers. This engine generates immense card flow, ramp, and single-target commander damage pressure. Supporting pieces like Puresteel Paladin, Forge Anew, and Sigarda's Aid bypass equip costs, while tutorable defensive tools like Commander's Plate, Mithril Coat, and Vexilus Praetor protect the board from opposing disruption. With high redundancy, resilient mass reanimation via Mantle of the Ancients, and decisive combat finishers like Akroma's Will, the deck reliably eliminates all three opponents by Turn 6.
