Mardu Surge Token Deck by user7162117

Format: Commander

Commander: Zurgo Stormrender

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Zurgo Stormrender leads a Mardu token-aggro deck that turns every attack into a flood of Warrior tokens, then converts their deaths into cards or life loss. The deck pressures all opponents with evasive token swarms, anthem effects, and drain triggers from Impact Tremors, Warleader's Call, and Corpse Knight. It can pivot into a mid-game token explosion with Rabble Rousing, Thalisse, or Dollmaker's Shop // Porcelain Gallery, and finish with a critical-mass attack boosted by Neyali or Porcelain Gallery. The commander is a draw engine and token generator, but the deck has enough independent token producers and drain payoffs to function without him.
