Deck overview

This is an Esper "cast noncreature spells, drain the table" control-combo deck built around Y'shtola, Night's Blessed. Every noncreature spell with mana value 3 or greater becomes a miniature Exsanguinate stapled to Healing Salve, and once the table has lost 4 or more life in a turn, Y'shtola starts turning that pressure into cards. The deck controls the board with instant-speed removal, counterspells, and efficient sweepers while accumulating drain triggers from Papalymo Totolymo, Circle of Power, Queza, Augur of Agonies, and Delney, Streetwise Lookout. The primary win is an infinite life-drain loop using Bloodthirsty Conqueror with either Enduring Tenacity or Marauding Blight-Priest, backed by large X-spell finishers like Exsanguinate and Torment of Hailfire. It is a mid-speed combo-control deck that wants to survive the early game, double its triggers, and finish with one explosive turn.
