Deck overview

This Orzhov combo-control deck turns life totals into a lethal weapon using Mister Negative. The game plan revolves around accelerating to 7 mana while deploying an on-board life sink such as Wall of Blood, Unspeakable Symbol, or Doom Whisperer. Once Mister Negative enters the battlefield, you pay your life down to 1 and exchange life totals with an opponent, instantly putting them at 1 life while resetting your total to 40. On the following turn, cheap blink spells like Ephemerate and Cloudshift re-trigger Mister Negative to set remaining opponents to 1, while drain outlets like Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim or Suture Priest finish the table. A robust removal suite of 13 interaction spells, combined with safety nets like Angel's Grace, protects your life-total gambits while keeping aggressive and combo opponents firmly in check.
