Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Grixis Discard and Villain Tribal deck led by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria. The primary strategy focuses on deploying low-cost mana acceleration and early Villains, casting Doctor Doom on Turn 3 or 4 to immediately trigger combat conniving. By cycling through the library and intentionally discarding land cards, Doctor Doom drains each opponent for 2 life per land discarded. Secondary burn payoffs like Brallin, Skyshark Rider, Glint-Horn Buccaneer, and Faith of the Devoted amplify this life loss into relentless table-wide pressure. Discard enablers like Psychic Frog, Trade Routes, and Dakmor Salvage provide continuous fuel, while token generators like Ultron, Unlimited and Mysterio's Mirage build a wide board presence. Backed by low-cost counterspells and efficient sweepers, the deck creates a decisive must-answer state on Turn 5 and eliminates all opponents through combined noncombat drain and combat damage by Turn 7.
