Jan Jansen by Hemmelig

Format: Commander

Commander: Jan Jansen, Chaos Crafter

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Jan Jansen, Chaos Crafter leads a Mardu artifact aristocrats strategy that turns utility artifacts into creature tokens and creature tokens into Treasure. The primary win condition drains all opponents using drain triggers like Mirkwood Bats, Marionette Apprentice, and Reckless Fireweaver while cycling tokens through sacrifice engines. Secondary lines assemble untap combos with Clock of Omens and Krark-Clan Ironworks, animate hordes of Treasure tokens with Vihaan, Goldwaker, or win directly via Hellkite Tyrant. The commander provides reliable early acceleration and fodder, converting low-impact artifacts into mana and board presence to fuel explosive mid-game turns.
