Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue flying tempo strategy commanded by Meneldor, Swift Savior. The game plan revolves around playing inexpensive creatures with enter-the-battlefield abilities, such as Cloudkin Seer, Serum Visionary, and Mist Raven, and then using Meneldor's combat damage trigger to exile and return them for recurring card advantage and board control. The deck supplements this engine with a dense package of reactive countermagic and bounce spells to disrupt opponents and protect key assets. Because the list is composed primarily of accessible commons and uncommons without infinite combos or fast mana, its victory condition relies on steady aerial combat over multiple turns. It controls opposing threats through tempo plays, freezes key creatures with Edifice of Authority and Quiet Contemplation, and gradually grinds down life totals in the air.
