Deck overview

This deck leverages Megatron, Tyrant and its vehicle face Megatron, Destructive Force to execute a synergistic Mardu artifact aggro and burn strategy. By casting Megatron for its alternate More Than Meets the Eye cost of four mana, the deck attacks on Turn 5, sacrifices an artifact, and redirects excess damage to an opponent's life total. This action converts Megatron into its robot side, unlocking a large pool of colorless mana in the postcombat main phase. The deck channels this mana into high-impact threats such as Darksteel Colossus, Myr Battlesphere, and Akroma's Memorial. While Megatron protects your combat phase by stopping opponent spellcasting, the deck closes games over several combat cycles using heavy artifact beaters, battalion triggers from Sentinel Sarah Lyons, and direct burn spells. Alternate routes with Anrakyr the Traveller and Trash for Treasure ensure the deck can cheat large artifacts into play even if the commander is removed.
