Liesa, Shroud of Dusk by emilyandreozzi

Format: Commander

Commander: Liesa, Shroud of Dusk

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Orzhov lifegain/drain deck built around Liesa, Shroud of Dusk. The commander taxes every spell for 2 life, while the deck gains life from Soul Warden effects, lifelink angels, extort, and token makers to out-pace that tax. Primary finish is the Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond-style loop (also Vito, Enduring Tenacity, Cliffhaven Vampire): once either side has a trigger, the loop drains all opponents. Secondary paths are Exsanguinate, Kaya's +2, Blood Artist/Elas il-Kor with a mass wipe, and angel/commander beatdown. There is no double-faced commander; Liesa is the only commander and the deck is built around her tax. The plan is to extend the game with removal and lifegain, then close through a drain loop or a large life total.
