Sauron and the Rings by user4221272

Format: Commander

Commander: Sauron, the Dark Lord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Built around Sauron's amass-and-Ring engine, this Grixis deck aims to grow a single Army while Saruman, the White Hand and Lord of the Nazgul turn every noncreature spell into additional creatures. The commander is both a 7/6 ward blocker and a huge refueling tool: once the Army connects, the Ring tempts you and Sauron can discard a spent hand to draw four. Secondary paths are flashback/reanimation value, including Living Death and Summons of Saruman, plus a one-turn steal swing from In the Darkness Bind Them. There is no infinite combo; the deck grinds card advantage, builds a huge Army and Wraith swarm, then finishes by combat. Saruman, the White Hand is the hidden build-around lieutenant.
