This Esper deck is a spells-matter control build helmed by Y'shtola, Night's Blessed. It wants to land the commander early, then convert a high density of noncreature spells - including counterspells, traps, auras, and draw engines - into table-wide damage and card advantage. The core loop is incremental: each 3+ mana noncreature spell deals 2 to every opponent, and Y'shtola's end-step trigger turns life loss from your own pain lands, Black Market Connections, or opponent damage into cards. The long game is fueled by Rhystic Study, Smothering Tithe, Black Market Connections, and the Transpose/Delney, Streetwise Lookout token-drain package, often ending in an Omniscience chain of free spells. There are no deterministic infinite combos; the deck wins by grinding the table down through repeated triggers, evasive lifelink auras, and one large spell-slinging turn.
