Deck overview

This list is a competitive Commander deck built around Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin, combining turbo-combo speed with disruptive midrange punishers. The deck accelerates through high-density positive mana artifacts and black/red rituals to deploy its commander on Turn 2. The primary win condition is an infinite ping loop between Ob Nixilis and Casey Jones, Back Alley Brute: whenever an opponent takes 1 damage, Ob Nixilis gains a +1/+1 counter, which triggers Casey Jones to deal 1 damage to an opponent, creating a deterministic loop that empties life totals. As a backup, the deck runs format-defining win routes via Underworld Breach, Ad Nauseam, and Walking Ballista. An aggressive suite of draw-hate creatures (Orcish Bowmasters, Razorkin Needlehead, Scrawling Crawler) weaponizes opponents' natural game actions while feeding Ob Nixilis's impulse-draw engine.
