JSN - Reaper King No More by user2030966

Format: Commander

Commander: The Reaper, King No More

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Jund -1/-1-counter attrition deck. The primary plan is to drop an engine such as Hapatra, Nest of Scarabs, or The Scorpion God, generate tokens and value whenever -1/-1 counters land, then use Yawgmoth as a repeatable sac outlet and draw engine. The Reaper, King No More is a support/value commander rather than a combo piece, stealing creatures that die with counters and adding a recursion/removal axis; Necroskitter fills a similar role. Secondary wins come from Bolas's Citadel value, Etali's free spells and poison, and drain from Blood Artist/Bastion. The deck grinds toward a Mikaeus + Yawgmoth + Hapatra + small non-Human undying loop that drains all opponents in one turn.
