Deck overview

This Rakdos deck is an Aristocrats Combo strategy commanded by Gev, Scaled Scorch. Gev serves as both an early aggressive threat and an essential combo enabler. By placing a +1/+1 counter on any creature entering the battlefield if an opponent lost life this turn, Gev permanently negates the -1/-1 counter imposed by Persist on Putrid Goblin. When paired with a free sacrifice outlet like Goblin Bombardment, Viscera Seer, or Skirk Prospector, the deck executes an infinite loop that drains or burns out all opponents in a single turn. Tutoring power from Goblin Recruiter and Goblin Matron ensures dependable access to the primary combo creature. When combo lines are contested, the deck transitions into a potent secondary burn and token plan, leveraging Mana Geyser, Impact Tremors, Agate Instigator, and Exsanguinate to close games through raw damage.
