Hearthhull by Hieya

Format: Commander

Commander: Hearthhull, the Worldseed

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Jund lands-matter deck built around Hearthhull, the Worldseed and the graveyard. The plan is to ramp heavily, sacrifice lands for value, fill the graveyard with fetchlands and effects like Harrow and Aftermath Analyst, then resolve a mass land-return turn with Splendid Reclamation, Lumra, Bellow of the Woods, or World Shaper to trigger a critical mass of landfall. The primary wins are combat-based turns with Moraug, Fury of Akoum generating extra combats, token armies from Avenger of Zendikar, Scute Swarm, and Titania, Protector of Argoth, and a life-loss finish via Valakut Exploration plus the commander's land-sacrifice drain. The commander is a threshold piece: it needs station counters before its draw ability is online and 8 counters to become a creature, but once active it turns every sacrificed land into cards, extra land drops, and table-wide damage.
