Deck overview

This is a Dimir poison/proliferate deck helmed by Venser, Corpse Puppet that wins by stacking poison counters on all three opponents rather than by conventional life-total damage. The engine is a critical mass of cheap infect/toxic evasive threats - Plague Stinger, Voidwing Hybrid, Pestilent Syphoner - plus global poison seeds like Ichor Rats, Prologue to Phyresis, Infectious Inquiry, and Vraska's Fall. Once every opponent has at least one counter, the deck's many one-shot proliferate effects (Drown in Ichor, Gulping Scraptrap, Glistening Sphere, Vivisurgeon's Insight, Vat Emergence) multiply three counters at a time. Venser turns each proliferate into either a 3/3 artifact Golem or a flying/lifelink grant to an artifact creature, while Scheming Aspirant and Voidwing Hybrid convert proliferation into draining reach and recursion. There are no infinite combos; this is a slow, interactive control deck that clears the way for its poison clock.
