Deck overview

This is a thematic mono-blue tempo deck built around Katara, Bending Prodigy, waterbend payments, card draw, evasive creatures, and reactive spells. Its strongest ordinary game state is a developed board of artifacts and creatures that lets Katara, Bending Prodigy draw repeatedly. The engine can generate a real recurring card advantage, but it is slow to assemble because waterbend requires six tapped artifacts or creatures rather than ordinary mana. The deck has useful counterspells, bounce, creature removal, and stun effects, yet it lacks tutors, compact protection, sustained denial, and a clear three-opponent finish. It should win through incremental combat and tempo when opponents stumble, not by presenting a reliable early combo or lock. The main strategic issue is that its best engine improves resources without creating a sufficiently fast or inevitable pressure clock.
