Deck overview

This deck is a Mono-Black Voltron Control strategy commanded by Vincent Valentine // Galian Beast. It focuses on turning extensive opposing creature removal into explosive commander damage. By utilizing an arsenal of cheap spot removal and edict effects such as Sheoldred's Edict, Plaguecrafter, and The Meathook Massacre, the deck steadily places +1/+1 counters on Vincent whenever opposing creatures die. Upon attacking, Vincent transforms into Galian Beast, a dangerous threat with trample and lifelink that bypasses blockers and returns itself to play if destroyed. Powerful equipment such as Genji Glove, Whispersilk Cloak, and The Masamune accelerates the lethal damage clock, while alternative win conditions like Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Zenos yae Galvus // Shinryu, Transcendent Rival provide decisive table-ending reach. Backed by efficient reanimation spells and continuous card draw engines, the deck controls creature-heavy boards and closes out games efficiently.
