Deck overview

This Golgari kindred deck is commanded by Camellia, the Seedmiser and focuses on pairing Squirrel token generation with Food sacrifice synergies. Early turns establish a reliable mana base and deploy cheap Food generators like Gilded Goose, Vinereap Mentor, and Bakersbane Duo. By Turn 4, Camellia enters the battlefield to convert every Food sacrifice into additional 1/1 green Squirrel tokens while granting the entire swarm menace. On Turn 5, the deck escalates its threat level using mass pump effects like Overrun, Banner of Kinship, Night of the Sweets' Revenge, or the life-draining trigger of Valley Rotcaller. The deck interacts efficiently using versatile instant-speed removal like Assassin's Trophy, Beast Within, and Tear Asunder. While it is vulnerable to sweepers and lacks countermagic, redundant token engines like Chatterfang, Squirrel General and Ygra, Eater of All ensure strong resilience.
