Deck overview

This competitive Simic deck leverages Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy to generate extreme mana velocity from nonland permanents. By accelerating ahead of the table on Turns 1 and 2, the deck reliably deploys Basalt Monolith on Turn 3 to generate infinite colorless mana. It converts this mana into an immediate win using Walking Ballista, Staff of Domination, or Thrasios, Triton Hero to draw the entire library and eliminate all opponents in a single turn. When the primary combo is contested, the deck pivots into an oppressive midrange strategy, using Natural Order, Chord of Calling, or Kinnan activations to cheat massive threats like Hullbreaker Horror, Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, and Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger onto the battlefield. Backed by a premier suite of free counterspells, proactive protection like Veil of Summer, and flexible interaction, the deck maintains high resilience against opposing disruption while threatening rapid, unanswerable finishes.
