Format: Commander

Commander: Edgar Markov

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Edgar Markov helms an aggressive aristocrat-aggro hybrid strategy that leverages his eminence ability to produce a swarm of Vampire tokens without ever leaving the command zone. The deck converts low-cost Vampires into an overwhelming board presence that rapidly pressures life totals. It closes out games through explosive combat damage amplified by Shared Animosity and tribal lords like Captivating Vampire, or through aristocrat bleed effects from Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, and Mirkwood Bats. In addition, the deck houses a lethal infinite drain combo by combining Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose or Marauding Blight-Priest with Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror.
