Deck overview

This deck is a Boros Voltron strategy built around Cloud, Planet's Champion. The commander reduces equip costs targeting itself by {2} and gains double strike and indestructible during your turn whenever it is equipped. The game plan focuses on deploying cheap Equipment in the early turns, casting Cloud on Turn 4 or 5, and attaching weapons for free or minimal mana. Cloud presents a rapid lethal threat starting on Turn 6, eliminating opponents one by one through double strike commander damage boosted by weapons like Colossus Hammer, Blackblade Reforged, and the Mirran Sword cycle. A deep suite of protection spells and phasing effects shields Cloud from removal, while backup threats like Bruenor Battlehammer and Gilgamesh, Master-at-Arms maintain pressure if the commander is removed. The deck also contains an infinite combat loop with Aurelia, the Warleader and Helm of the Host.
