Commander: Gandalf, Party Guest

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Gandalf, Party Guest leads a Jeskai Wizard-spellslinger build that wins by making the commander's combat-phase free cast as large as possible. The deck accumulates legendary Wizards, then uses Capstone's paradigm to cast several spells for free each turn, while Veyran, Harmonic Prodigy, Gandalf, Goblins' Bane, and Vivi Ornitier convert each noncreature spell into burn and pump. Combat is the second axis: Adeliz and Balmor grow the Wizard team, and Akroma's Will/Boros Charm provide double strike and protection. There is no infinite combo; the plan is a value-and-burn engine that threatens lethal around turn 8. The commander is central but not mandatory, since the wizard shell can still generate triggers and tempo without it.
