Deck overview

This is an Esper spellslinger control deck built around Saruman of Many Colors. The plan is to cast two spells every turn, triggering Saruman's mill and free-copy ability to exile and cast opponents' instants, sorceries, and enchantments from their graveyards. A dense package of second-spell cost reducers (Alisaie Leveilleur, Uthros Psionicist, Lyse Hext, Mocking Sprite) and magecraft/value engines (Archmage Emeritus, Alphinaud Leveilleur, Y'shtola, Night's Blessed) keeps the double-spell engine online while the deck answers the board with a deep instant-speed interaction suite. Wins come from attrition drains (Exsanguinate, Syr Konrad, the Grim, Wizard ping tokens, Fandaniel, Telophoroi Ascian) rather than infinite combos. The Water Crystal supercharges the mill axis, and Heliod, the Warped Eclipse turns the deck into a flash control machine. Saruman is the unique payoff but the 99 still functions as a competent Esper control shell without him.
