Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Homer the Hermit is a landfall-mill deck: every land drop becomes a scalable mill if enough Crabs, Lobsters, Nautiluses, Starfish, and Trilobites are on board. The deck pairs the commander with cheap tribal creatures and changelings, then uses extra-land effects (Azusa, Exploration, Explore, Aesi) to multiply the number of landfall triggers. It closes either with a large final landfall turn or with compact combo lines built around Bruvac plus Maddening Cacophony, Riverchurn Monument, or Jidoor's Overture. Homer is both the engine and the win condition; Bruvac is the most important non-commander multiplier. There is no hidden commander. Without Homer the deck still has Bruvac-based wins, but the main value engine runs much slower.
