Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai midrange engine that uses Sakashima of a Thousand Faces and Ikra Shidiqi, the Usurper to generate overwhelming board presence and large life totals. The strategy focuses on accelerating mana during the first three turns with low-cost ramp spells and artifacts. On turns four and five, the deck deploys high-impact threats such as Koma, Cosmos Serpent, Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait, or Sheoldred, Whispering One. Sakashima bypasses the legend rule, allowing you to create multiple copies of these game-ending legendary creatures alongside token doublers like Parallel Lives and Adrix and Nev, Twincasters. As duplicates multiply, Koma generates an unstoppable swarm of Serpents that tap down opposing blockers, key lands, and activated abilities while dealing lethal combat damage across subsequent turns. Supporting life-gain triggers from Ikra pair with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Sanguine Bond to convert combat connections into direct life drain, finishing the table quickly.
