Deck overview

This Esper deck uses Ratonhnhaké꞉ton to turn looting and discard into immediate board presence and tempo. By using cards like Frantic Search, Likeness Looter, and Oriq Loremage, the deck places high-cost Equipment such as Colossus Hammer, Argentum Armor, and Batterskull into the graveyard. When Ratonhnhaké꞉ton attacks on turn 4, its built-in hexproof and unblockable traits guarantee its first combat connection. This creates a 1/1 menace Assassin token and returns an Equipment directly to the battlefield attached to that token. Support cards like Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist, Forge Anew, and Puresteel Paladin then bypass heavy equip costs to move weapons onto the commander for lethal commander damage or build a wide army of buffed tokens. Backed by interactive countermagic and resilient defensive tools like General's Enforcer and Haystack, the deck applies relentless combat pressure while maintaining steady card flow.
