Golbez's Collection by Yowster12

Format: Commander

Commander: Golbez, Crystal Collector

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Golbez, Crystal Collector is an artifact-value commander, not a traditional beatdown general. The deck floods the board with cheap artifacts and thopter/construct tokens, using Golbez's end-step trigger to recur a large creature and drain the table. Urza, Lord High Artificer acts as a hidden commander: with a wide artifact board he becomes mana acceleration and a way to chain spells. The primary finish is Bolas's Citadel plus Aetherflux Reservoir and Sensei's Divining Top, firing Reservoir three times. Backup paths are combat with an army of thopters/constructs and alternate mill/burn from Mirrodin Besieged and Tezzeret, Master of the Bridge. Trading Post and Emry keep the engine grinding through removal.
