Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Boros combat and combo strategy commanded by Aurelia, the Warleader. It pairs acceleration from fast mana lands and low-cost artifacts with compact creature win conditions. The deck accelerates using Sol Ring, Ancient Tomb, City of Traitors, and two-mana signets to establish early board presence. Its primary win condition pairs Twinflame with Dualcaster Mage to create an arbitrarily large army of hasty attackers on Turn 4. Alternatively, the deck can deploy Aurelia, the Warleader alongside extra-combat threats like Karlach, Fury of Avernus, Combat Celebrant, or Helm of the Host to deal overwhelming combat damage across multiple phases. Disruptive creatures like Drannith Magistrate and Blind Obedience slow opposing development, while robust protection spells such as Grand Abolisher, Silence, and Deflecting Swat ensure winning lines resolve safely.
