Deck overview

This Mardu tokens-and-aristocrats deck is built around repeatedly casting the back face of Extus, Oriq Overlord // Awaken the Blood Avatar. The plan is to flood the board with cheap tokens, dump them into the Avatar's sacrifice discount, then copy the sorcery with Flare of Duplication and Fury Storm so multiple hasty 3/6 Avatars hit the table and ping the pod for 3 on each attack. Token doublers (Mondrak, Glory Dominus, Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation, Exalted Sunborn) and death-payoff engines (Cruel Celebrant, Zulaport Cutthroat, Teysa Karlov, Mayhem Devil) turn every wave into real life-total pressure. The secondary plan is a classic go-wide overrun: anthems, ETB burn (Impact Tremors, Warleader's Call), and aristocrats drains close games when the Avatar line is disrupted. Front-face Extus is a useful magecraft recursion body and cascade enabler via Flamekin Herald, but the deck is tuned to cast and copy the Blood Avatar as often as possible.
