Deck overview

This Izzet Spellslinger deck is commanded by the partner pairing of Krark, the Thumbless and Sakashima of a Thousand Faces. The primary strategy revolves around copying Krark's triggered ability so that whenever an instant or sorcery is cast, multiple coin flips occur. Losing at least one flip returns the original spell to hand, while winning flips creates copies on the stack. When paired with cheap rituals and cantrips, this engine generates arbitrary mana and draws the entire deck. The deck closes games deterministically on Turn 4 via storm payoffs like Grapeshot and Brain Freeze, or through an infinite creature attack with Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame. Dense 1-mana countermagic and interactive bounce spells protect the combo and disrupt opponents effectively, while alternate graveyard lines with Underworld Breach provide strong resilience against disruption.
