Deck overview

This Sultai deck is helmed by Homer, the Hermit, turning land drops into lethal mill triggers based on your Crab, Lobster, Nautilus, Starfish, and Trilobite count. The strategy accelerates mana in the early turns using efficient 1-to-2-CMC ramp before deploying Homer on Turn 3. It then multiplies its tribal presence using Changelings, Crabs, and non-legendary clone effects like Spark Double, Sakashima of a Thousand Faces, and Springheart Nantuko. Once a critical mass of Crabs is established, explosive mass-landfall spells such as Splendid Reclamation, Lumra, Bellow of the Woods, Awaken the Woods, or Nanogene Conversion mill 40 to 100+ cards across the entire table in a single turn. Opponents are eliminated on their subsequent draw steps or instantly drained by Bloodchief Ascension. Graveyard recursion engines like Ramunap Excavator, Conduit of Worlds, and Six ensure consistent resource flow and resilient recovery against opposing interaction.
