Deck overview

Ral, Monsoon Mage is a spellslinger storm deck that uses Ral's front-face cost reduction and coin-flip transform to accelerate into a planeswalker value engine. The primary plan chains cheap cantrips, rituals, and copy effects to build storm count and win with Grapeshot or incremental pings from Guttersnipe, Vivi Ornitier, Gandalf, and Electro. Thousand-Year Storm and Storm-Kiln Artist/Birgi turn each spell into multiple copies or Treasure for explosive turns. Secondary paths use graveyard recursion via Underworld Breach, Past in Flames, and Will of the Jeskai to replay the graveyard as a second hand. Vivi Ornitier and Archmage Emeritus act as hidden commanders, providing damage and draw independent of Ral.
