Format: Commander

Commander: Kraven the Hunter

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Kraven the Hunter leads a BG midrange plan that turns removal into card advantage and +1/+1 counters. The primary path is to kill the largest opposing creature each turn while pumping Kraven with counter amplifiers such as Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, and Winding Constrictor, then push through with trample, hexproof, and protection. Secondary paths use Chevill and Bounty Board to convert bounty kills into cards and life, Vraska to steal creatures as Treasures, and Sarulf or Toxic Deluge as resets before rebuilding with Will of the Abzan. There is no hidden commander; the supporting legends are role-players. Kraven is a single-faced commander, and the deck is built entirely around his death-trigger draw and counter growth.
