Deck overview

This deck is a Selesnya midrange build focused on Polukranos Reborn // Polukranos, Engine of Ruin, blending lifegain triggers, +1/+1 counters, and token production. The game plan relies on deploying early mana dorks like Llanowar Elves and Druid of the Cowl, casting Polukranos on turn 3, and transforming it into Polukranos, Engine of Ruin on turn 5. Once transformed, Polukranos anchors a resilient board that punishes destruction by leaving behind two 3/3 Hydra tokens. The deck reinforces this core with compounding payoffs including Righteous Valkyrie, Kodama of the West Tree, Primeval Bounty, and Elesh Norn // The Argent Etchings. Evasion and alpha-strike enablers like Akroma's Will and Bond of Discipline allow the deck to close games through combat by turn 8. While the deck boasts strong mana acceleration and board presence, it lacks dense instant-speed interaction and relies on natural draws for its non-enchantment payoffs.
