Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Equipment and Saboteur Voltron deck commanded by Jin Sakai, Ghost of Tsushima. The strategy focuses on attacking with a single, highly equipped threat each combat phase to trigger Jin's modal ability, granting either unblockability ('Ghost') or double strike ('Standoff'). Leveraging cheap tutors like Stoneforge Mystic and Steelshaper's Gift, the deck rapidly fetches premier weapons such as Excalibur, Sword of Eden, Sword of Feast and Famine, and Genji Glove. Cheating equip costs with Sigarda's Aid, Forge Anew, and Puresteel Paladin allows Jin Sakai to threaten 20+ commander damage in a single hit by Turn 5. A robust protection suite featuring Mithril Coat, Hammer of Nazahn, and Yuriko, Blade of the Mighty shields attackers during critical combat windows. In parallel, secondary saboteurs like Cloud, Midgar Mercenary and Squall, SeeD Mercenary ensure the deck maintains lethal pressure and card flow even if the commander is removed.
