blight by Luvd2death

Format: Commander

Commander: Auntie Ool, Cursewretch

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The deck is a -1/-1-counter combo midrange list that treats Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons as a hidden commander in the 99. Auntie Ool, Cursewretch provides extra cards and incidental life loss whenever counters are placed, but every combo line depends on other cards. The primary win is an infinite drain loop using Yawgmoth, Thran Physician plus Hapatra and a token source (Nest of Scarabs or Blowfly Infestation) with Zulaport Cutthroat or Bastion of Remembrance. Secondary plans include wither beatdown from Midnight Banshee, Village Pillagers, and Maha; board wipes that leave -1/-1 counters; and stealing enemy creatures with Necroskitter and The Reaper. The commander is a value engine rather than a combo piece.
