Deck overview

The deck uses The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl to create a growing Squirrel board, then converts creature count into mana and lethal pressure. Its strongest supported finish is the Scurry Oak plus Ivy Lane Denizen loop, started by the commander's enters-the-battlefield Squirrel and converted into a library kill by Altar of the Brood. Creature tutors make the engine findable, while Gaea's Cradle, Circle of Dreams Druid, Cryptolith Rite, Jaheira, Friend of the Forest, and many one-mana accelerants support expensive deployment. The list also has a conventional token kill through Craterhoof Behemoth, Finale of Devastation, or Zilortha, Apex of Ikoria. Its main limits are the four-piece primary finish, vulnerability of its creature core, weak access to noncreature payoffs, and limited answers to opposing creatures and stack-based combos. It is a strong general-power build rather than a compact cEDH deck.
